3D printed and painted Enterprise from Star Trek (1966)
NCC-1701, just so happens to be the re-order of the USS Constellation, NCC-1017.

This project was made as a gift for my dad's birthday several years ago, and as a bench test for my new (then) 3D printer. Printed in white in two halves, connected with contact cement, and imperfections filled with epoxy. After cured, the ship was painted with acryllic paint, and slowly decorated. The original stand has been lost, so a makeshift one was created for this shoot. The ship is also painted with flourescent and glow-in-the-dark paint so that if it is exposed to UV light, portholes will light up in the dark. This was a relatively minor project I took on during college when I was watching Star Trek TOS in between assignments.
